Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself... I'm Amie from Michigan... Last year on 9/25 I was admitted to the hospital and almost lost my life less then 12 hours later on 9/26 my daughter Cailey (10 at the time 11 now) was admitted and almost lost her fight as well.  We spent months in the hospital, Cailey was in ICU and on a vent for over 6 months, we were told everything from she will not make it, to she would need a double lung transplant to she could be on a vent for life.  Cailey had other ideas though and we will finaly able to bring her home in February vent free.  We teamed up with the ALA and Faces of Influenza to help educate as many people as we can so what we went through they don't have to.

Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone

Hi Amie, I'm so sorry you had to go through that.  <<We teamed up with the ALA and Faces of Influenza to help educate as many people as we can so what we went through they don't have to.>>  That is so wonderful that you are giving back like that!  What is ALA?  All I can think of is the American Library Association!
