H1N1 Hospitalizations and Deaths in Georgia 

Prior to March 14, 2010, DCH was reporting H1N1 hospitalizations and deaths that reflected a reporting timeline of Wednesday – Tuesday.  To be consistent with CDC reporting, we are now using the MMWR reporting timeframe Sunday-Saturday.  Please note that this update does not change the state's total numbers of H1N1 hospitalizations and deaths. The DCH Web site will be updated each Tuesday to reflect the prior week's influenza-associated hospitalizations and deaths.  Data are subject to change based on reporting delays.

Data also appears to show that Influenza B is more prevalent than A,currently
