A Lakeville elementary school reports more than a quarter of its students are out sick with flulike symptoms.

Only about 72 percent of the students at Eastview Elementary were in school on Monday. Principal Dick Oscarson says five of the 175 sick students have confirmed cases of swine flu, according to their parents.

The school wasn't planning to cancel classes but will follow guidelines the Minnesota Department of Health has issued for schools.

As of Monday morning, 67 Minnesota schools have reported flu outbreaks to state health officials. Those reports come in when at least 5 percent of a school's population is out sick with flulike symptoms.
