	Well....so far I have attended 2 funerals in the past 30 days because of this "FLU HOAX" and I'm not finding it very amusing. I'll agree that any fast tracked vaccine is probably questionable and you might even get me to go along with a conspiracy theory that some government was testing things they shouldn't have been testing....and a virus "got away from them". But if you think the flu itself is a hoax.....you are wrong.....and people that don't take it seriously are going to be dead wrong.

	Talking about hoaxes - was there any conclusion from the WHO-lead research into the origin of this flu virus (lab / "natural")? Of course, the virus itself is real, but what can you do apart from taking precausions against getting it (which is especially difficult with basic school-aged children)? There are no real cures and vaccine might not be a helpful option (if the virus mutates in fall before the vaccines arrives)... And of course incidents such as Baxter's vaccines contaminated by the bird flu virus this spring do not increase one's confidence or trust either.

	I'll tell you what's really odd about this flu. We live in a small community where there have been 2 swine flu deaths and 2 other friends of these people were infected, but had only a couple of days in the hospital, with no major issues. But the interesting part about all this is that the 2 people who died were around hundreds of people while they were sick and even people living in the same house were not infected. Even normal flu generally infects everyone in the household, so this is all more than a little strange in how it picks and chooses it's victims.
